The projected field of 11 is expected to include the stakes winners Monument (California Cup Juvenile at Santa Anita) and Strong Wind (Graduation Stakes at Del Mar).

The King Glorious is part of the Golden State series of stakes for California-breds. The program was launched earlier this year, with a nomination fee of $300 for 2-year-olds. Juveniles that were not nominated could be supplemented to the program for $25,000.

Fighting Hussar, an allowance race winner in November, was supplemented to the King Glorious. He was fourth in the C.B. Afflerbaugh Stakes at Fairplex Park in September.
