Hollywood Park has Sunday pick-six carryover of $113K


INGLEWOOD, Calif. - There is a pick-six carryover at Betfair Hollywood Park of $113,928 for Sunday’s nine-race program.

The carryover was clinched when Warren’s Parolee (22-1) beat 3-2 favorite Brown Boss in Saturday’s ninth race. Brown Boss was covered on a pick-six ticket.

The pick six on Sunday covers the fourth through ninth races. The pool could exceed $600,000 in new money.

There is a carryover of $22,294 on Sunday’s Super High Five, which is conducted on the day’s final race.

As of Saturday morning, there were early scratches in two of Sunday’s pick six races.

In the fifth race, Anzeau is scratched from the also-eligible list of a one-mile maiden race for California-breds. In the ninth race, Neil Healy is out of a maiden claimer over 1 1/16 miles in the ninth race, leaving a field of 11.

The pick six races include one stakes – the $70,000 Great Lady M Stakes for fillies and mares over six furlongs on turf. Schiaparelli, who drew the outside post in a field of six, is the 8-5 morning-line favorite.

Schiaparelli will be a key selection on many pick six tickets. Another selection that will prominent on pick six tickets is Sweet Marini, who is the 9-5 favorite on the morning-line for the eighth race. The eighth race is an allowance race over 6 1/2 furlongs.
