Hollywood carryover at $114,086

INGLEWOOD, Calif. - Several longshots won at Hollywood Park on Saturday, producing a carryover of $114,086 into Sunday's nine-race card.

Sunday's pick six begins with the fourth race. Here are some notes regarding the pick six races.

Fourth race - Prime Step is the 8-5 morning line favorite, but he is not being raised in class despite winning his last start by 6 1/2 lengths and being claimed. He has a big pace advantage, though, so opposing him is difficult.

Fifth race - A turf race for 2-year-olds, which can produce prices if you look for pedigree plays. Frankel has a first-time starter named Ashoka, who is out of a Nureyev mare. Longshot Geebeekay did not show much in Florida, but is bred to improve a bunch on turf.

Sixth race - Validating beat a slightly softer bunch in quick time in her last start. Class dropper Segovia fits better against these.

Seventh race - Another heavy favorite, with Truckle Feature. Our Bobby V., who has blazing early speed, can beat him. Double the race with these two, and you've probably turned it into a pick five.

Eighth race - Class dropper Crousille and Frankel import Cedar Sea look like the right ones.

Ninth race - Grand Visions has sharp speed and might never be caught. A chancy single at this level, but looks best nonetheless.
