INGLEWOOD, Calif. - Wacky Patty won her second stakes race of the Hollywood Park meet in Friday's $100,300 Landaluce Stakes for 2-year-old fillies.

Wacky Patty started in all three stakes races for the division during the meet. In her only stakes loss, she finished fourth in the Cinderella Stakes June 8 after a poor start. A Formal Dinner filly who has earned $137,569, Wacky Patty won a maiden special weight race and the Nursery Stakes in her first two starts at this meet.

In the Grade 3 Landaluce Stakes, Wacky Patty was sent off as the slight favorite.

Ridden by Jose Valdivia Jr. for owner-trainer Jim Chapman, Wacky Patty ($5.80) ran six furlongs in 1:10.28. Wacky Patty was always close to Cherish Destiny, who set fractions of 22.07 seconds for a quarter-mile and 44.67 for a half-mile.

In early stretch, Wacky Patty took the lead while racing outside and won by a length. Cherish Destiny finished five lengths in front of Platinum Princess, who stumbled badly at the start.

Alpenwald finished fourth, followed by Outrageous Oyster and Silver Hawk Lady.
