Hill ‘n’ Dale Farm in Lexington, Ky. has released the advertised fees for its 2016 stallion roster.

Two-time Horse of the Year Curlin, who relocates to Hill ‘n’ Dale after seven years at Lane’s End Farm, is likely to command the group’s highest fee, which will be announced at a later time. Hill ‘n’ Dale acquired a 20 percent stake in the 11-year-old son of Smart Strike, who stood for $35,000 in 2015, earlier this year.

Midnight Lute and Stormy Atlantic were the highest-priced stallions among those whose fees were announced, each advertised at $25,000 for the upcoming season.

Three returning stallions will stand for reduced fees in 2016: Concord Point ($5,000 from $7,500), New Year’s Day ($5,000 from $7,500) and Atreides ($5,000 from $6,500).

Two stallions will stand their debut seasons at Hill ‘n’ Dale in 2016. Breeders’ Cup Classic winner Bayern will be advertised at $15,000, while Breeders’ Cup Sprint winner Secret Circle, will stand for $5,000 under a traditional “stands and nurses” contract or $7,500 out of proceeds.

Flashback, New Year’s Day, and Power Broker will be eligible for the Team West Trifecta, in which breeders who send a mare to each stallion will pay $13,000 instead of $17,500.

“Hill 'n' Dale offers breeders both proven leading sires and outstanding prospects priced at value to the breeder,” said John G. Sikura, president of Hill ‘n’ Dale Farm We are excited to offer this roster and welcome breeders to inspect our stallions.  We feel they will be impressed."
