A High Fly filly blazed through her eighth-mile work in 9.60 seconds, the fastest time for the distance at Friday's final under-tack preview for the upcoming Ocala Breeders' Sale Company's spring 2-year-old auction.

The breeze show at the OBS facility in Ocala, Fla., ended Friday with the High Fly filly, a daughter of Jovetta, the fastest eighth-mile worker from all four sessions. The filly is Hip No. 1194 in the catalog.

The Friday under-tack show also produced a pair of 20.40-second works over a quarter-mile that were the day's fastest. Hip Nos. 949 and 1036 posted that time. Hip No. 949 is a Limehouse-Deputy's Delight filly. Hip No. 1036 is a D'wildcat colt out of Feijoada.

Hip Nos. 934 and 1159, a pair of fillies, put up the quickest three-furlong work in 33 seconds. Hip No. 934 is a daughter of Wildcat Heir and Daringly, and Hip No. 1159 is by Black Mambo out of Inaspecial Way.

Hip No. 1182, a Concorde's Tune gelding, breezed a half-mile in 47 seconds in the day's only work at that distance.

The workouts took place over the synthetic surface at the OBS facility in Ocala, Fla. The auction, also at OBS, will take place April 19-22. Sessions start daily at 10:30 a.m.
