Hawthorne Harness: Saturday 6/11 Analysis

Best Bet( 5 - 9 / $35.40): IMPRESSIVE ART (1st)

Spot Play: DELIGHT FASHION (10th)

Race 1

(6) IMPRESSIVE ART lightly raced pacer looks to be getting better with every start and finds a softer bunch than his last two.  (2) CHLO'S RICHESS sophomore pacer has plenty of room to improve in his second lifetime start.  (7) SLEAZY DUDE burned heavy cash last week but should offer a much better price this time out; threat.

Race 2

(8) REAL COOL DUDE beat a solid bunch last start and has the most upside in the field.  (7) TRIXSEN GRAM pacer faces weaker and looks to offer value.  (2) SPECIALS FINALHOPE has a terrible record so far this year, however the pacer can hit the board with a smooth trip.

Race 3

(8) FOX VALLEY CUPID takes a huge drop down in class.  If the 5-year-old rations out his speed he will be tough to catch; fires early.  (2) WHO SEEN BOLT also drops down against weaker and looks to be in line for a ground saving trip up close. (7) REJOICEANDBEGLAD raced well last week but needs more to hit the top spot.

Race 4

(6) TWINKLE LIKE ASTAR is very inconsistent from week to week.  If the gelding puts forth his best effort he can score at a price.  (2) MAJOR ED is primed for a good effort third start back off a long layoff.  (10) SUMMER SHANDY is also just now back in racing shape but could be up against it with the outside post.

Race 5

(6) YANKEE BOUNTY has just been racing evenly but should find this spot down in class to his liking.  (9) UNCLE BUD pacer is sharp right now; versatile.  (5) FOX VALLEY GEORGE is probably in to tough but the pacer's gate speed makes him a threat to hit the ticket.

Race 6

(9) BIG MOON RIZING  ran off and hid last week and probably has more to offer for a high percentage barn.  (4) ALWAYS KENZER was a well rated winner last out; threat.   (7) JEWEL MAKER was no match for the top choice last week; use underneath.

Race 7

(9) PART TIME well bred pacer has always had the ability and will look to score two in a row at another big price.  (7) CHIP AGAIN despite being 0 for the year the pacer is getting sent out for capable connections.  (2) BEST MAN HANOVER was completely empty last week.  The pacer owns the most back class by far.  If the pacer is taking early tote action pay close attention.

Race 8

(4) BC'S BAD CAT pacer comes into the race off a really sharp effort just missing from a tough spot.  (7) OLD MAN RIVER has been ultra-consistent for the current connections; threat.  (10) MYSTICAL WALTER with a better post the 6-year-old would be the horse to beat.

Race 9

(8) SOMESTARSOMEWHERE impeccably bred stallion has been facing stiff competition in Indiana.  If the 5-year-old gets a good setup he can score.  (10) KOLT POWER should probably be considered the horse to beat especially with a good early spot off the gate.  (6) FIVEKNUCKLESHUFFLE put in a good effort last week against similar.

Race 10

(10) DELIGHT FASHION owns only one win on the year but just missed at this level flying late last week.  (1) LIETENANT STEVE was also close against similar last week and gets the best starting post. (2) PISTOPACKINPIPER has just been racing evenly but is capable of a big effort; threat.

Race 11

(4) DONALD HIMSELF always offers a good price and is a threat at this level.  (2) BOSSA NOVA BABY pacer is sharp right now and makes his first start in a new barn.  (1) CRUIZE COMMANDER owns a recent win and second against similar.
