HOT SPRINGS, Ark. - Haveyougoneaway rallied up the inside for a neck win over Sarah Sis in the $100,000 American Beauty on Saturday at Oaklawn Park. It was another 3 1/4 lengths back in third to Meshell.

Haveyougoneaway ($9) settled in third behind dueling leaders Sarah Sis and Super Saks, who went at it through fractions of 22.11 seconds for the opening quarter and 45.61 for the half-mile. Haveyougoneaway put in her bid through the stretch, fighting with resurging Sarah Sis late while covering six furlongs on a fast track in 1:10.32.

Trainer Allen Milligan was pleased with the effort from both Haveyougoneaway and her longtime regular rider, Jareth Loveberry.

“He really gets along good with her,” said Milligan.

Haveyougoneaway earned $60,000 for her win, which was her seventh from 20 career starts. She has now earned $312,425. Haveyougoneaway, a two-time stakes winner, is a 5-year-old mare by Congrats. She was bred in New York by Andy Beadnell and Susan Beadnell.

Milligan said Haveyougoneaway is a candidate for the $100,000 Spring Fever on Feb. 20 at Oaklawn.
