HOT SPRINGS, Ark. - Haveyougoneaway picked up her second straight stakes victory of the Oaklawn Park meet Saturday, when she closed with authority for a 2 ¾-length win over even-money favorite Thirteen Arrows in the Spring Fever Stakes.

Haveyougoneaway won last month’s $100,000 American Beauty at Oaklawn. The final filly and mare sprint stakes of the meet is the $100,000 Carousel scheduled for April 14.

Haveyougoneaway ($7.80) was content to settle mid-pack as Warriorscmoutoplay and Thirteen Arrows dueled through an opening quarter in 22.12 seconds and a half mile in 45.91. Haveyougoneaway began her bid on the turn, angled four wide into the stretch, and rolled home to cover 5 1/2 furlongs on a track rated fast in 1:04.28. Thoughtless finished third.

“She’s getting a lot more confidence in herself,” said winning rider Jareth Loveberry. “Before, she was trying to make her move too early. Now, she’s just really confident with herself.”
