If Paynter wins the Haskell on Sunday, he will give Bob Baffert his sixth victory in the race.

OCEANPORT, N.J. - Paynter has been made the 3-2 favorite against five rivals  in the $1 million Haskell Invitational for 3-year-olds at Monmouth Park on Sunday.
Paynter drew post 3 with Rafael Bejarano set to ride for trainer Bob Baffert, a five-time Haskell winner. This will be Paynter's first start since just missing by a neck in the Belmont Stakes.
Dullahan, third in the Kentucky Derby, and Wood Memorial winner Gemologist are the co-second choices at 3-1. Dullahan has post 2; Gemologist post 4.
Nonios is the 7-2 fourth choice from the rail.
Handsome Mike, 15-1 from post 5, and Stealcase, 8-1 from the outside, complete the field.

for those who thought Gemologist might be even money, here's your chance. Also, for the Bodemeister skeptics, I earlier asked A. Zayat if there is a chance that Bode and Paynter might both run in the Travers, and he didn't say no, he tweeted, "MAYBE",which I fully realize is not yes or probably, but possibly. he would probably like to see what Paynter does in the Haskell first. the two horses wouldn't care, so why should he? that would be a heckuva Travers !!

I CANNOT wait for Haskell Day! One of my favorite days of the year, period.
