Race 7

ASTOUNDING HANOVER was a convincing winner last out and even on the move from the pole to post seven has to be considered the one to beat.  Goes fourth start for Cad Gregory, will be blasting early as Nap's projected choice.  T BOONE remains on the claiming merry-go-round but hasn't actually won since March; not an easy call.  DIANE'S SHARK takes a double drop for Sheridan and even still might need a little more.  Similar story for HICKORY HORACE.

Race 8

STOLEN CAR showed speed and then was cautiously handled in his first start over the track last out.  He was well supported that day and now an apparent driver change is a sign of further positive intent.  MACRAIDER N was up against it in his last couple and now lands an improved post on the drop.  Tough barn to ignore.  EASY AGAIN closed with a rush last out and similar closing tactics should be coming.  Capable with trip.  OUR DRAGON KING is obviously capable of big speed but is still a 3-year-old making just his second start back against older.  Wide open race.

Race 9

FRATERNITY makes his 3-year-old debut for Elliott off the heels of two qualifiers and he looks ready to go with these at first asking.  McArdle colt only missed the board three times from eleven starts last year; outclasses many of these.  ROCK ICON is an obvious short priced threat from the rail.  His recent races have all been fair but even those rate favorably against most of these.  WISHFUL DESIRE got caught in a 1:51 4/5 mile at Pocono in his most recent; now makes third start back on the year for Burke and will take attention.

Race 10

H HALL was a solid first over winner three back in 1:51 1/5 and last out had good pace at both ends of his mile against the very sharp Cambassador.  He's versatile enough to do it either way and should be respected against these.  OSCEOLA GOLD has proven he belongs in this group and will deserve to take further action today from the rail.  Either of his last two would give him a big chance.  FALL TOY goes for DiDomenico off the claim but is in need of a turnaround.  ADDWATER invades for Fraley.

SUNDAY, MAY 12

$1 play:  3,7,8 / 1 / 1,5,7,8 / 1,2  $24

Race 7

PRIDE AND GLORY goes for new connections off the claim and that was a 1:50 4/5 mile this one was caught in last out at Pocono.  Capable of speed and seems to figure.  JOANS BAD BOY has now won two in a row rather comfortably but this post complicates matters.  The trip to the top today might not be as easy.  BETTOR WIN was improved last out while not having the easiest trip.  IT'SGOTTABEMYWAY will take action but has been only fair of late.

Race 8

BAMBINO GLIDE qualified recently and was beaten only by a very good 3-year-old in Kegler Hanover.  That 1:57 3/5 clocking is almost three full seconds quicker than any of these can go in an actual race; he can only beat himself.  RAVEN DE VIE had a useful debut where he showed speed for Ryder and was inching in late against a heavy favorite.  Looks to secure another good early spot.  ETIENNE was improved last out.

Race 9

TRACK MASTER D has recently qualified back twice and in each of them he missed just by a neck to the great Economy Terror.  It would be hard to not include him today based off those recent lines for Alagna; looks like Bartlett is in drive also.  VISA VIPER qualified to a fast 1:53 2/5 mile a couple weeks ago and that was a decent one that finished second in that race. DON'T YA KNOW clearly has some talent but I don't know how aggressively handled he'll be from out here in just his first start back. LUCAN HANOVER draws in via scratch and must be included.

Race 10

CRUSINONTHEWIND was in the midst of an advancing three wide move last out when he broke and can be given another chance; particularly from the improved post.  HUXLEY is a fresh re-claim for Burke and aims for three in a row; likely favorite.  KAMANCHE MOON is bound to be forwardly placed early and is in good form; KENZIE'S BEACH BOY finds a more reasonable spot while landing the rail.
