Race 7

SOLVATO took his lifetime mark of 1:53:2 at this track last year while amassing over $250,000 in earnings as a 3-year-old.  Now makes his second start back for Smedshammer and that was a talented group this one faced last out at the Meadowlands.  MAJESTIC STONE was brave last out after finding himself seemingly out of it but he's yet to face anyone this year of the caliber in #7.  Needs to get the jump.  ARMOR HANOVER was hard used throughout in his most recent.

Race 8

PAN OF OUTSIDERS faced some very good ones early in the season last year at Mohawk as a 2-year-old and that Pocono qualifier against Ranch Hand looks good on paper.  No Pan Intended colt stands out against these.  FAST PULSE showed speed in his most recent and closed in :27:1; will be forwardly placed from the rail.  KISS MY DONKEY was involved in a relatively quick recent qualifier; there could be some potential here.

Race 9

TRYST steps up to tackle tougher conditioned foes but that recent 1:51:1 win was accomplished easily despite being used hard early.  I'm not sure where it came from but if that good again she'll be a threat.  MONTENEGRO ships down from Woodbine and goes first time Burke; certainly one to consider on that fact alone.  JET WASH looked like a winner mid stretch last out after clearing to the lead on the backstretch; post complicates matters.  ODDS ON AVENTURE makes her third start up north and was closing fastest a couple weeks ago; at time of this print Miller has a tough call between this one and #8.  SHINE N SHIMMER will be an early speed factor in seemingly wide open affair.

Race 10

SAMANDAR goes from the Open at Dover to the bottom level here in just three starts and there a number of superior looking rivals on this one's recent view.  Guaranteed to be on the lead; no excuses accepted.  INTREPID HALL recently qualified to be just three lengths behind FFA standout We Will See.  HICKORY HORACE completes his trip down to the bottom but at least it looks like a driver change is coming.  IDEAL IKE should be in position to threaten if good enough.
