Race 7

ALASTAIR HANOVER was a convincing winner at this level last out and he is difficult to go against in his third start back following the month off. Eight-year-old gelding owns a very solid history over this track and should be able to continue to win.  HE DA COOL MAN protected his inside post edge last week and was able to take that group all the way on the front end.  CANNAE SONNY closed well in his first start off the claim for Loney. THE REAL BUCKEYE held well despite a first over trip in his most recent.

Race 8

RESTLESS NATIVE went a tough first over trip in the off going a couple weeks ago against a well meant front end winner; deserves another chance at the reduced level for the second time.  Any of those prior Dover miles look like they'd be good enough.  SIMON'S ARTIST was never involved from post 8 in his most recent; is a threat now with the improved post.  TWINCREEKS JACK took a fast mark here last year and exits a qualifier against Hillbilly Hanover. SILENT PARTNER will be showing speed.

Race 9

NIGHT'S FLEET had no chance a couple back against The Chancellor and last out he was caught in a 1:54 mile.  He makes his third start on the year and doesn't look much worse than anyone else in a wide open race.  PETTY HANOVER went out and then backwards last week in the same fast race as the top choice; one of the main contenders.  RACE ME COMET makes his second start back since last June for Callahan. TWIN B NAVIGATOR might take action but hasn't won since 2011.

Race 10

DIAMOND TIARA was hard used early from post 9 at Pocono last out and the winner of her race two-back already won next out against better.  Speed is guaranteed from the 1:50 4/5 winner at this track last year.  CARAMEL CHINNO had too much ground to make up in a 1:51 1/5 mile last week but now goes from Fraley to Karrat; let's see how sharp first start off claim.  No one has been close to touching BRICKYARD NELLIE in her last few; the step up is warranted; sharp.
