Race 9

BLUSHING HANOVER broke when challenging for the lead early last out and now drops to the bottom in his third start back in these parts.  The majority of her rivals at Pompano were much better than these; I'd be surprised if she isn't in the mix.  PILGRIMS ALL IN is an obvious speed threat but those final few yards are always an issue.  Just 1 for 9 on the year; short price coming.  TRITECH had some trot while bottled in traffic last week even though he was ultimately DQ'd for a break earlier in the mile; sneaky play.
Race 10

ROYAL CEE CEE N won last years’ edition of the Betsy Ross with Pierce and from the same post eight no less.  Harder trainee has yet to miss the board this year in nine starts and will offer a very square price once again in a field of top flight mares you could throw a blanket over.  DROP THE BALL looked good last out in challenging first over even though she eventually broke into the stretch.  She'll be primed today while making her second start back.  At over $2.1 million in lifetime earnings, ANNDROVETTE will be going forward early for Tetrick as the likely favorite.  She's yet to be worse than second all year and prepped well for this race last week.  FEELING YOU has to be respected but might not have the easiest road to the top from out here.

Race 11

FRAMED ART was used hard and endured a first over trip into a 1:50 4/5 mile while making just his first start back for Stafford last out.  Artiscape colt earned good money on the NYSS circuit last year at three and any semblance of his most recent would make him tough in here.  P L FIGHTER has now been runner-up three times in a row and didn't have any excuse last out.  On the other hand, it's still Burke and Gingras from the rail.  UP UP AND OUT should be stronger in his second start back for Erv Miller. SCALPED is going to have to be used early to get involved.

Race 12

SEVRUGA gutted it out on the front end last Saturday to win the Cutler in a lifetime best 1:51 at the Meadowlands and he owns a terrific history over this track as well.  There's no question Andy will be looking for the front as the one to run down.  WISHING STONE just missed last out in that blanket four way finish at the wire and this one bested the top choice two out of the last three times they faced each other.  Trememdous showdown coming.  The outside draw is a killer for MODERN FAMILY and he'll need all of the Tetrick magic to overcome it.  It's a daunting task if he chooses to leave into #7.  UNCLE PETER finds himself with the post edge on all key rivals; his try from two back would give him a shot.
