Left from post 8 and was parked to the lead in :27 1/5, set a quick pace and held well for the place

THERUSSCOMBO -

Save ground, was 9th at the top of the stretch, finished quickly to miss by less than a length

UNCMPRMISING -

Was 8th at the half, moved out but could not pick up good cover and ducked back in, angled for clearance in the stretch and finished fast for the place

SOAP SUDS -

Had post 1 and was used deceptively hard trying to keep pace to a runaway leader while chasing sizzling fractions, paced a :26 2/5 first quarter, went first over, took the lead on the final turn, was out-kicked but held well for the place

BERGERAC -

Left from post 7 and was used hard to the lead past a :27 1/5 first quarter, set a pressured pace and only lost by 2 lengths

Left from post 7 and was used hard to clear past a :26 4/5 first quarter, set the pace under pressure and didn't tire that badly

MYSTICAL CON -

Was first over a long way from post 7, pushed the 2/5 winner and was a game second

FAST BILL*** -

Followed weak cover, rallied strongly three wide on the final turn and drew clear with a sharp :28 final quarter

Left and yielded, brushed back to the lead at the quarter, set a pressured pace and held well for the show

SIR JAKE'S Z TAM -

Was 8th at the half, followed weak cover, rallied three wide on the final turn and finished gamely for the show from a tough spot while missing by less than a length

WINYARD HANOVER -

Left well and yielded, brushed back to the lead before the half, took on pressure through a :27 3/5 third quarter and held gamely to be second best to the pocket winner

 

YONKERS

9/17: 4w, + speed, not a severe bias this week but leavers had an advantage, and first over was the next best trip

Trotter had post 8, went first over from a tough spot, rushed up to challenge at the half, trotted a big middle-half, took control at the three quarters and drew off impressively

Saved ground from post 7, swung out late on the final turn and finished fast
