Was 5th at the half, grinded first over against the bias-aided pacesetter and held well for the show while finishing solidly in :27

MEZZANINE -

Quarter-moved and paced a :27 2/5 second quarter to take the lead before the half, drew off to a sharp score

EMBASSY SEELSTER -

Left from post 8 directly outside of the tough 3/10 favorite and was parked the mile without cover prompting the pace against that rival; tough trip

ENRICO AS -

Trotter left and was parked the mile without cover, forced the pace, put away the leader to take the lead but excusably weakened

 

PHILADELPHIA

TALL COTTON -

Was third over behind weak cover in a slow paced race and finished well for the show from a tough spot

HICKORY BIG BLACK -

Had post 8, followed cover, lost cover when a horse broke, finished solidly to miss by two noses in a blanket finish

SHARKY'S WAY -

Quarter-moved and was parked on a long first over bid, held well for the show

CAVIART CATERINA -

Left strongly from post 7 and was parked to the lead in :26 4/5, rated the half, paced a :27 2/5 third quarter, dug in gamely for the win

 

POCONO

ROCKINGCAM PARK -

Was 8th at the half, had poor cover, rallied three wide on the final turn and finished well for the show from a tough spot

Left and was parked the mile without cover, battled for the lead, held okay

BILLABONG BEACH -

Left and was parked out in a speed duel, raced parked the mile, held the place

TAKE CHARGE KARL -

Was 8th at the half, followed poor cover and finished quickly in the stretch

TWIN B FAMOUS*** -

Left well and yielded, was shuffled to third, pulled first over and was used hard to clear at the three quarters, took on immediate pressure and excusably tired in the stretch

 

YONKERS

GLASS PRINCE -

Had post 7, followed weak cover and finished sharply from a tough spot

TOUCH AND GO*** -

Left from post 7 and tucked 5th before the quarter, moved out behind cover mid-turn three, charged three wide approaching the three quarters, remained three wide around the final turn while battling for the lead, weakened late but held well for the show

OR -

Left sluggishly from post 6, broke briefly on the first turn and was taken back to 8th, moved out on the final turn, swung wide for the drive and finished fast for the win
