Left from post 10 and tucked 6th, power-brushed to the lead at the half pacing a :27 second quarter, weakened late in a good effort

PREEMPTIVE BID*** -

Was 7th at the quarter, paced a :55 4/5 middle-half on a tough first over grind, took the lead in the stretch and gave way grudgingly late to the 2/5 favorite in a sharp effort

LENNOX BLUE CHIP -

Was 7th early, went first over from a tough spot pacing a :55 middle-half, drew clear

RICKY BOBBIE*** -

Had post 9, saved ground behind a modest pace and was flying late

Left from post 7, was three wide to the quarter pressing hot fractions, remained parked in a vicious speed duel, cleared past the three quarters, weakened but held the place

Was parked the mile from post 7, worked his way into contention, was first over, held okay to beat five horses home

PURE SMOKE -

Was 8th at the half while 4th over, circled three wide around the final turn and finished sharply against the bias to land the show spot

ULYSSES BLUE CHIP -

Had post 8, made a long brush to reach the leader at the half, got into a speed duel, was shaken off but held okay considering the trip

ARTILLERIST -

Left to the early lead in :29, picked up the pace while refusing to yield while in a speed duel through the middle-half, shook off that rival and gave way grudgingly late in a trip that looks like a pocket trip on paper

 

DOVER

11/9: 5w, + speed

11/6: 7w, + speed

LUCK BE WITHYOU -

Quarter-moved to the lead into a wicked pace, went to the half in :52 4/5 and tired but I don't think you can hold this against him

 

HOOSIER

11/8: 1w, no bias

11/7: 3w, no bias

11/6: 3w, + closers, tailwinds

IRA CHIEF -

Left sharply from post 9 and was used hard to clear, yielded at the half and was shuffled out of contention behind a tiring horse

FRASS BLUEGRASS -

Blasted to the lead with a :25 4/5 first panel, yielded, pulled the pocket at the three quarters, regained the lead on the final turn and didn't tire that badly

NUTMEGS YANKEE -

Followed poor cover and finished strongly to just miss, last quarter in :26 4/5

 

NORTHFIELD

11/6: 6w, no bias, off track

HALFWAY GONE -

6th at the half, made a nice three wide brush at the three quarters, couldn't reach the bias-aided 4/5 winner but held well for the show

JUMP START -

Was 8th at the half, followed weak cover, rallied three wide around the final turn and finished sharply against the bias for the show

Left from post 8 outside of three other leavers, was used hard to clear to a :53 4/5 half, took on pressure and fought it off to hang on for a game win

Had post 8, followed weak cover, rallied three wide on the final turn making up good ground and finished gamely to get up on the wire from a tough spot

BORN TO ROCKN ROLL -

Was 4th over, roared three wide at the three quarters, made up good ground but flattened out  in the stretch while holding the show, fine effort from a tough spot

BIGTOWN HERO -

Left from post 6 and was used hard to clear past a :25 2/5 first quarter, set a wickedly fast pace going to the three quarters in 1:19 1/5, weakened but held okay considering

Left from post 8, gunned three wide to take the lead past a :26 3/5 first quarter, shook off third quarter pressure while setting the pace and drew off
