Left from post 6, tucked third, was shuffled, finished quickly late

 

MAYWOOD

SCARLET N SILK -

Rushed up first over approaching the half, battled for the lead, took the lead on the final turn and held well for the place

FOX VALLEY TOUCHE -

Left from post 7 and was parked to the quarter, set the pace under heavy pressure and tired in a trip that was tougher than it looks on paper

11/29: 2w, no bias, off track

 

DOVER

11/30: 10w, ++ speed

 

PINEAROSA -

Was on the move at the quarter while 8th, followed cover third over, followed cover three wide around the final turn and finished gamely against the bias for the place

 

NORTHFIELD

11/28: 7w, + speed

SWEETHEART DANCE -

Left from post 7 and tucked 5th, was first over a long way pressing the bias-aided favorite and held gamely to be clearly second best

 

PHILADELPHIA

11/30: 4w, no bias

11/21: 7w, + speed

11/28: 5w, no bias

MILLIONDOLLARTOUCH -

Had post 8, moved at the quarter, followed cover, lost cover passing the half, paced a quick middle-half, chased the leader, wore him down in the stretch and drew clear

M K G -

Left well and yielded, was shuffled out of contention behind a tiring horse

NEFERTITI BLUECHIP*** -

Was 8th, followed cover 5th over and finished strongly for the show from a tough spot

RHAPSODY ROSE -

Was parked the mile without cover from post 7, battled for the lead through the final half and held well for the show

 

FREEHOLD

A AND G'S DESIGN -

Made an early brush from post 6 and was used on a long first over bid, challenged the 4/5 winner through the third quarter and excusably weakened

IT'S HARRY'S TURN -

Left from post 8 and was three deep to the lead in :29, set the pace and held well to be second best behind the pocket horse

 

MEADOWLANDS

11/29: 3w, no bias

11/28: 6w, no bias

HARBOR POINT -

Left from post 8, was parked the mile, picked up cover briefly but lost it at the half and remained parked uncovered a long way, held well

HIGH OCTANE N -

10th from post 9, followed cover 5th over and finished strongly for the show

K-LEES SHAKENBAKE -

Saved ground from post 10, swung wide for the drive and finished fast

FOUR STARZZZ Z***-

Left from post 9 and tucked late on the first turn, moved out with cover off the turn, lost cover, brushed to the lead past the half and held gamely for the place in the 1 1/8 race

 

YONKERS

11/30: 3w, no bias

11/29: 4w, no bias
11/28: 3w, + speed, 11 of the 12 races won by leader or pocket horse, the other race was won by the horse sitting third along the pylons, inside bias

GLAM CAM -

Power-brushed to the lead at the half, paced a quick :54 3/5 middle-half, held okay

SKY IS THE LIMIT*** -

Left from post 8 and was used hard to clear in :27 2/5, set a lively pace, went :27 2/5 in the third quarter and was a game second behind the pocket horse

GRAND MASTER*** -

Had post 6, was third over behind terrible cover, rallied three wide on the final turn and finished sharply over a track that appeared difficult to rally wide on

JETS ARE ON*** -

Had post 6, was unable to flush cover, grinded first over into a stepped-up final half and finished strongly to just miss

DELLA BEA -

Went first over, paced a :27 3/5 third quarter, held gamely for the place

BIG JER -

Had post 7, picked up cover on the third turn, tipped wide for the drive and finished strongly for the show while losing by two necks

P H SUPERCAM -

Had post 8, followed cover, swung wide for the drive and finished strongly, last quarter in :26 4/5

NOT AFRAID -

Trotter left from post 7, was used hard to clear in :28 2/5, set a quick pace going 1 1/4 miles and didn't tire that badly
