CHILLY BREEZ -

Followed cover and made up 11 lengths through the middle-half, lost cover down the back, took the lead in the stretch but was out-kicked by the 3/5 winner in a game placing

EXCELERATED SPEED -

Followed weak cover, rallied three wide final turn and finished well, last half :55 1/5

CHIPPER -

Had post 9, was 4th over behind a poor flow, finished strongly for the place

ICE SCRAPER -

Left and was parked to the lead in :26 1/5, set a fast pace and drew clear

Had post 7, followed weak cover, rallied three wide around the final turn making up good ground and finished strongly to get up from a tough spot

JS MCFLASH -

Had post 8, followed cover and finished boldly in the stretch, just missed

MAKE IT WORK -

Left from post 7 and was parked the mile without cover, prompted the pace, held well

CHEWY BACA*** -

Left three wide into turn one and was parked to a :26 4/5 first quarter, was parked all four turns, had the lead on the final turn but weakened excusably while holding the show

FINANCIAL EFFORT -

Had post 7 and a tough spot with lots to overcome including poor cover, a slow pace, and a speed bias, made a strong three wide brush at the three quarters but flattened out

HAKUNA MATATA*** -

Broke at the start, recovered and sat last, pulled off turn two and was third over, brushed three wide off cover around the third turn, paced a strong middle-half, gained willingly down the back, settled into the two path at the three quarters, held gamely for the show

JOYFUL GAME -

8th at the half while 4th over, followed cover three wide around tired horses, was three wide on the final turn and finished sharply for the place

Had post 8, moved at the quarter and followed weak cover, finished well for the show

7th at the half and stuck behind weak cover, rallied three wide around the final turn and finished sharply for the place, last quarter in :26 4/5

JUST BETTOR*** -

Left from post 8 and got into a speed duel pushing a hot pace, never cleared, held okay

BETTOR'S ARENA*** -

Left in :26, set a fast pace while refusing to yield to Just Bettor, gave way grudgingly late beaten by the second-over, perfect trip 3/5 winner

ALWAYS N THE MONEY*** -

Hustled out from post 7 and was parked to the lead in :26 1/5, yielded to the sharp 3/5 favorite, swung out in the stretch and battled gamely to the wire to be second best

E R RUDY -

Had post 10, was parked most of the mile and was first over pushing a quick pace, weakened but only lost by 4 lengths

 

NORTHFIELD

NITRO SEELSTER -

Kept up to the lively pace early then pulled first over pushing a :26 4/5 third quarter, couldn't clear but held okay

SIR RICHARD Z TAM -

7th at the half and stuck behind poor cover, made a solid three wide brush around the final turn, gained good ground but flattened out; chance at a price off this effort

 

PHILADELPHIA

11/16: 9w, ++ speed

11/14: 9w, + speed, speed favoring as usual but three horses did rally off cover to win from post 7, and two horses rallied from off the pace with inside trips, so it was a bit hard to gauge and certainly not impossible to close

11/13: 6w, + speed

QUINNMAN -

Had post 6, left, tucked, was shuffled, finished sharply in the stretch

Had post 7, rushed up three wide at the half, was three wide the entire final half and finished gamely

Left well and parked a horse to the quarter, pulled off turn two and brushed back to the lead, took on heavy pressure and drew clear confidently in the stretch

ZINDELIGHT -

Was third over behind poor cover, rallied three wide around the final turn and finished sharply for the place

TRACEUR HANOVER -

Took to the track nicely here, pulled first over at the half, ranged up, reached the leader at the three quarters, wore him down and held off the pocket horse gamely

IN THE ARSENAL -

Left well from post 10 and showed sharp speed to the lead in :26 3/5, set a lively pace over a tiring track and held well for the show

COLOR'S A VIRGIN -

Pulled first over, took her time ranging up under patient handling by Trace Tetrick, collared the leader into the stretch, moved clear with authority under confident handling

Classy trotter stepped up into the Open, had post 8, followed cover down the back and finished boldly in the stretch to get up

Had post 7, was third over, followed cover three wide, was wide final turn, finished gamely for the place

BJ'S GUY -

Shipped in from Saratoga, had post 8, saved ground and finished quickly, last quarter in :27 flat

RED CARPET DUDE -

Third over from post 7, finished strongly in the stretch, just missed to the favorite
