PIERCE -

Left and was parked to the lead in :26 3/5, set the pace and gave way grudgingly late

THE MEADOWS

3/5: 4w, no bias

 

FREEHOLD

3/5: 6w, + speed

3/4: 4w, no bias, sloppy track

3/3: 4w, no bias

TOP GEAR*** -

Left but took a quick tuck, went first over pushing a :27 4/5 third quarter against a sharp front runner and continued gamely to the wire to be a solid second

INSANE IN SPAIN -

Was third over from post 6, rallied three wide around the final turn and finished gamely for the show from a tough spot

SPRINGHOUSE STAR -

Had post 7, was 4th over behind weak cover, finished gamely for the show

 

MEADOWLANDS

3/5: 7w, races 1-6, + speed; races 7-13, no bias; tricky night, early speed dominated for the first six races but then three winners rallied from pretty far back to win three of the last seven races…overall, the track was more speed favoring than it usually is

3/4: 3w, no bias, westerly winds 5-10 mph, mild headwinds

DOVUTO HANOVER -

Moved out past the half and picked up cover, tipped wide for the drive and finished with his usual strong stretch charge to just miss

ALLSTAR LEGEND -

Was on the gate when he broke before the start and dropped back 5 lengths, recovered and rushed up but was still at least 3 lengths off the gate when it opened, was hustled out to the lead, set a lively pace under good rating, drifted out and was passed by Dancin Hill along the inside but fought back gamely for the win

WAYWARD SON -

Had post 2 but ended up 9th after a bunch of horses left, followed cover at the quarter and was 4th over, moved three wide at the three quarters and wider turning for home, finished gamely in an improved effort

K-LEES SHAKENBAKE -

Was 9th and 5th over on the final turn, roared three wide at the three quarters gobbling up ground boldly and rallied explosively to get up on the wire, last quarter in :25 4/5

ITRUSTYOU -

Left from post 9 and was used hard to a :26 4/5 first quarter while pulled back to tuck third, was shuffled and eased off on the final turn but was moving well late

HOPE FOR BADLANDS -

Had the rail and kept up well early pacing a :27 2/5 first quarter, pulled before the half and picked up cover briefly, lost cover and brushed to the lead pacing a :27 2/5 third quarter, weakened late but lost by less than a length

LOONEY DUNE -

Left well and tucked in the pocket on turn one, was shuffled back to 5th, came out behind a wall of horses in the stretch, cleared late and finished steadily for the place

 

MONTICELLO

3/3: 5w, + speed

 

YONKERS

3/5: 7w, + speed

3/4: 7w, + speed

3/3: 3w, no bias

RONNY BUGATTI -

Set a fast pace under heavy pressure from two different rivals and held well for the show

CYCLONE KIWI N -

Left strongly from post 7 to the lead in :26 4/5, set the pace, held well for the show

KNOCKING AROUND -

Had post 6, poor cover, and a slow pace to overcome, rallied three wide on the final turn and finished in :27 flat to finish third from a tough spot

CAMS MACHARENA -

Had post 7, followed cover and finished sharply for the show, last quarter in :28 2/5

ELRAMA N -

4th over from post 7, finished solidly for the show in an improved effort
