Was 10th at the three quarters, followed cover and finished fast for the show

KOLT POWER -

Left very fast from post 9 to the lead in :26 1/5, yielded and was shuffled out of contention behind tired horses

7/3: 5w, + speed, two horses did win from off the pace but one got lucky when the two first choices broke, and the other rallied off a fast pace into a slow final quarter

VERY LOUDLY -

Left from post 7, tucked third, went first over into a :27 3/5 third quarter and just missed

MAJOR UPTREND -

Left from post 7 and tucked 4th, went first over against the 6/5 favorite, pushed a :27 third quarter and held gamely for the place

BADIOU HANOVER -

Had post 7, left but tucked 5th, was first over a long way and held okay considering

 

POCONO

LUCK BE WITHYOU -

Had the rail, blasted to the lead in :25 4/5, set a wicked pace under pressure and held sway by a comfortable margin in a sharp effort

ALWAYS B MIKI -

Floated out from post 7, brushed up to take the lead past the quarter, set a fast pace under intense pressure from Wiggle It Jiggleit then held off Freaky Feet Pete's pocket rally to win by a length in 1:47, another huge performance

 

MEADOWLANDS

J EAGLE FEATHER -

Left and tucked, quarter-moved to the lead, parked a horse to a fast half yielding grudgingly, edged out of the pocket past the three quarters and got up gamely

REUBEN BROGDEN N -

Shipped in from Yonkers with a key drop in class, left from post 7 to the lead late on the first turn, yielded and was third but immediately pulled again and rushed up, was used hard to regain the lead from the 4/5 favorite at the half, excusably tired in the late stages

CAVIART SPENCER -

Left from post 9, was three wide to the quarter and parked forcing the pace, was passed at the five eighths, remained parked out and held well considering

ROSSINI -

Trotter was 6th at the quarter, rushed up approaching the half, got into a battle with the pacesetter and drew clear sharply in the final sixteenth

NORTHERN DALI -

Was 6th behind weak cover, finished sharply for the show from a tough spot

KAMWOOD LAUGHTER N -

Had post 8, followed weak cover and finished fast in the stretch

Left from post 6, got strung out in a speed duel, forced a quick pace, only lost by 3 lengths in a game effort

INTREPID HALL -

Had post 8, saved ground, finished fast in the stretch

THE REAL ONE -

Moved out midway through turn three and picked up weak cover off the turn, swung wide for the drive, rallied gamely for the place
