Had post 8, followed cover 4th over and finished quickly

On this list last week, drew post 6, followed cover third over and finished gamely to get up and pay $87.60.

Was first over a long way and held okay

SB MIKES HOT BEACH*** -

Left from post 7 and was parked forcing a blazing pace, wore down the 6-5 favorite to take the lead but was out-kicked by the pocket horse late in a big effort

CHECK PULSE -

Had post 8, moved out behind poor cover at the half, rallied wide a long way and finished gamely for the show, home in :29 flat

MAPUAS FORTUNE*** -

Third over behind weak cover from post 8, rallied three wide around the final turn and finished gamely for the show

 

NORTHFIELD

6/4: 7w, + speed

CHASE THE SUN -

Had post 1, blasted down the road setting a hot pace, jogged off with a :28 3/5 final quarter to win in 1:51 3/5 in a NW$400 per start in 2014

M A ROY -

Quarter-moved and got hung out for the mile, paced a :27 3/5 second quarter, held okay

ZORGWIJK HEAVENLY*** -

Trotter was 8th at the half, followed cover 4th over, followed cover three wide around the final turn and finished strongly for the place

SASSY ORBORNE -

Left and got parked in a speed duel forcing a fast pace, didn't clear until the final turn, tired, but held okay considering

LAVROS VISION N -

Had post 7, made up a chunk of ground through the middle-half, brushed three wide at the three quarters, cleared tiring cover and finished gamely

 

HOOSIER

 

6/4: 5w, no bias, strong tailwinds

6/3: 6w, no bias

IDEAL CHOICE -

Went down the road setting a hot pace and drew off with a :27 4/5 final quarter

PRINCESS JOVENTINA -

Went first over into the wind and hit the three quarters in 1:25 1/5, which was the fastest on the card, significant because it was at a low class level; held the show nicely

PHILADELPHIA

 

5/28: 6w, + speed, sloppy track

6/4: 6w, + speed

LEAN ON YOU -

Was 4th over and had some trouble as horses broke in front of him, finished sharply against the bias to get the show

 

THE MEADOWS

6/4: 9w, + speed

6/3: 3w, no bias

6/2: 3w, no bias

SECRET ALIBI -

Broke before the start and fell 13 lengths behind, made up ground at each call and finished gamely for the show

SJ'S PATRIOT -

8th early, followed cover, paced a :55 3/5 last half closing for the show

 

POCONO

 

6/4: 10w, ++ speed

6/3: 9w, + speed

JOHNNY Z -

Was parked the mile without cover from post 9 and held okay

BITTERSWEET CHAMP -

Kept up well to a fast opener pacing a :26 3/5 first quarter, was second over at the half, brushed to clear a tiring horse, paced a :26 3/5 third quarter chasing a bias-aided winner, excusably weakened; could be worth a price, especially with a drop in class

LATE NIGHT JOKE -

4th over from post 8, followed cover wide and finished sharply against the bias

TIOGA

GALLIC WARRIOR -

Was third over behind weak cover, rallied wide and finished fast to just miss
