Had post 8, followed cover third over, made up 10 lengths through the middle-half, finished well for the show with a solid :27 1/5 final quarter

Left from post 8 and was parked to the quarter for the lead, yielded, was shuffled to 4th, slipped out second over and finished gamely to just miss in a big effort

GOLD ROCKS -

Was parked the mile without cover from post 8, pressed the pace first over against the sharp even money favorite and held well for the show

Left in :26 over the off track, yielded and was shuffled, held well

Left from post 6 but was looped leaving and parked to the half, didn't tire that badly

STRAIGHTTALKXPRESS*** -

Broke at the start and was taken back to 6th while recovering, followed weak cover third over, rallied three wide at the three quarters and finished boldly

JO PA'S WELL SAID*** -

Left from post 8 and tucked 5th, grinded first over from a tough spot, paced a :27 1/5 third quarter over the off track and was a game second

MONTANA PABLO A -

Left and yielded, made a strong move to regain the lead past the half while ripping off a :26 4/5 third quarter, ran out of steam late but held well for the place

BAD MAN SAM -

Left and was used hard three wide to a :26 2/5 first quarter, was shuffled out of contention; price factor in exotics now

 

POCONO

6/21: 2w, no bias

6/20: 5w, no bias, races 1-8, fast, races 9-14, sloppy

WHITE MOUNTAIN TOP -

Left strongly in :26 and yielded, regained the lead before the half, yielded to the strong brush of the winner and held well to be second best

CAUTION SIGNS -

Gunned to the lead in :25 3/5, rated the half, uncorked a :26 3/5 third quarter and held his advantage to the wire in a sharp win

SOMETHINGINTHEWIND*** -

Left from post 7 and tucked 5th, grinded first over into the wicked pace set by Caution Signs and finished gamely to be second best

 

MEADOWLANDS

DOO WOP HANOVER -

Floated out and raced parked on a long first over bid, bided his time as Campbell cagily waited for the pace to slow, rushed up on the final turn, collared the leader in mid-stretch and pulled clear late under expert handling to set a world record for a mile and an eighth

RUFO -

Left and gradually worked his way to the lead nearing the :53 2/5 half, took on immediate pressure and dug in gamely for the win

PAPARAZZI HANOVER -

Left and was parked the mile, lost cover nearing the half and attacked first over, could not clear Rufo but held gamely to lose by only 2 lengths

ONTARIO SUCCESS -

Left from post 9 and was wide into the turn then crossed over and moved well to the lead in :26 1/5, rated the pace and finished in :26 2/5 to hang on for another sharp win

LONG LIVE ROCK -

Left and tucked on turn one, went first over, pressed the sharp favorite through a :54 4/5 last half, held well for the place; I'll call him Love Live Lock with a catch-driver

JIN DANDY -

Came into this race with only 3 wins in 68 starts the past three years but was making his first start for Lounsbury, left from post 10 and was three wide on the first turn, took the lead at the quarter in :26 3/5, set the pace and drew off impressively

HIT BY LIGHTNING -

Moved at the quarter and followed excess cover, was 4th over on the final turn, swung wide turning for home and finished fast for the place, last quarter in :26 4/5

 

MONTICELLO

6/18: 8w, + speed

 

TIOGA

6/21: 2w, no bias

6/20: 3w, no bias

6/19: 8w, + speed

STEADY WARRIOR -

Left to the early lead in :27, yielded and was shuffled back to 5th, angled clear in the stretch and finished quickly to get up

P L HELLCAT -

Was 6th at the half, went first over from a tough spot, paced a :27 1/5 third quarter to  reach the 4/5 pacesetter, was shaken off but held well for the show

Left strongly from post 7 and was parked to the lead in :27, set the pace under expert rating from Bartlett and drew off impressively

Grinded first over, paced a :27 2/5 third quarter and held well for the show

Had post 6, followed weak cover and finished sharply for the show
