Was 9th at the half 5th over, rallied wide at the three quarters, was wide on the turn and finished solidly for the show from a tough spot

Had post 9, followed cover and finished quickly for the show

THAT MAN OF MINE -

9th early, followed weak cover and finished gamely for the place

ROCKIN JIMMY -

Left from post 9, tucked 5th, power-brushed to the lead at the half muscling past the 1/2 favorite and drew off to a commanding win

MACHO BURBON -

9th at the half, followed poor cover and finished quickly for the place

 

HOOSIER

7/16: 3w, no bias

7/15: 5w, no bias

7/14: 4w, no bias

NEXT THING SMOKE'N -

Left from post 8, was used hard three wide to the lead in :26 1/5, rated the pace nicely for Tyler Smith and came home in :27 for a game win

 

NORTHFIELD

ST LADS GIDGET -

Had post 7, followed cover third over, finished gamely from a tough spot, game second

MISS TWO PUNCH -

Had post 7, followed weak cover 4th over, was three wide on the final turn and finished well for the show from a tough spot

 

MEADOWS

7/15: 5w, no bias

I'M FEELIN GOOD*** -

Left from post 6 and was used hard to clear the lead at the half, took on pressure through a :27 1/5 third quarter, finished 5th but only lost by a little more than a length

 

PHILADELPHIA

7/17: 5w, no bias

7/15: 7w, + speed

7/14: 10w, ++ speed

VALLEY OF SIN -

Trotter had post 8, followed poor cover, rallied three wide on the final turn and finished gamely against the bias to miss by a head

BEACH SCENE -

Filly broke before the start from the rail, was 6th at the half, grinded first over against a runaway 2/5 shot, narrowed the gap on the final turn and drew clear for a game win

STEELHEAD HANOVER -

Left quickly from post 8 and parked a horse to a :26 3/5 first quarter, yielded, was shuffled to 6th, found room in the stretch and finished gamely to miss by two necks

MAJOR UPTREND -

Was first over a long way from post 6, pressed a :27 1/5 third quarter, held gamely

 

POCONO

7/17: 8w, + speed

7/16: 4w, no bias

SAFENSOUND HANOVER -

6th at the half, grinded first over into a stepped-up final half and held okay

RESTLESS -

Left quickly in :26 1/5, yielded, moved again to the lead at the half and yielded, held willingly in close quarters

OPEN WATER -

Left from post 6 and was used hard to get the lead past a :26 1/5 opener, yielded and was shuffled to 6th, angled out behind a wall of horses in the stretch, cleared late, did not appear to have much left at that point but was used hard for this level

 

MEADOWLANDS

7/16: 3w, no bias

7/15: 2w, no bias, mild headwinds

STACIA HANOVER -

Was 9th at the half behind a modest pace while 4th over, edged wide in mid-stretch and finished willingly

HANNELORE HANOVER -

Trotter floated out from post 4, gradually made her way up then took control at the five-eighths, drew clear impressively in hand

HONOR AND SERVE -

Trotter left from post 10 and was parked to the lead in :26 3/5, yielded and was shuffled, angled out in the stretch, cleared in the final sixteenth and finished willingly

LADY SHADOW*** -

Left slowly from post 5, was three wide part of the first turn, gradually made her way to the lead nearing the half and drew clear powerfully under mild encouragement

SKIPPIN BY -

Left alertly to the early lead, yielded and was shuffled in tight quarters and cleared too late but had some pace

SOLAR SISTER -

Was 10th behind cover, gunned three wide at the three quarters and finished quickly for the place from a tough spot

CITY PIE -

Moved at the quarter while 9th, followed dull cover 4th over, rallied three wide at the three quarters and finished gamely for the place

MAJOR PLAYER -

Left and had a tough parked-out trip from post 9, pushed first over, weakened but only lost by 2 lengths

Was 6th at the quarter, 5th at the half, grinded first over from a tough spot, paced a :27 1/5 third quarter chasing the bias-aided 4/5 winner and held gamely for the show

DOCTOR BUTCH -

Millionaire pacer was 5th at the half, pulled first over entering turn three, moved strongly down the back and engaged the leader pacing a :26 3/5 third quarter, finished in :27 3/5 winning rather confidently considering the difficult trip

CYCLONE KIWI N -

Went first over, paced a :27 third quarter, was right there at the finish line
