PURITY -

Left from post 10, declined a tuck on the first turn and followed the flow, lost cover at the quarter and was parked first over, challenged hard, took the lead in mid-stretch but weakened after the tough trip

TRUE BLUE HALL -

Was 8th at the half, picked up weak cover 5th over, followed cover three wide at the three quarters, finished quickly down the far outside

DARCEE N -

Left from post 7 and tucked third, pulled first over at the half and drifted three wide, moved back into the two path entering the turn, drifted wide again turning for home but held gamely for the show

CITY PIE -

Had post 10, followed cover 5th over, stacked wide for the drive and finished fast down the far outside

BEGINNER'S LUCK -

Left from post 8, followed cover, lost cover and brushed to the lead past the quarter, set the pace against the bias, weakened late but only lost by two noses in a game effort

IDEAL CARVER -

Had post 9, swung out behind a wall of horses in the stretch and finished willingly in close quarters; may be coming around
