Left and got into a speed duel, forced a fast pace and held okay for the show behind a much-the-best 3/10 winner

JUSTICE JET -

Trotter power-brushed to the lead at the half making up 7 lengths, held well for the place

FASHION DELIGHT*** -

Left and tucked, went first over against a tough front runner, put that one away in the stretch and just missed on the wire in a game placing

ACCOUNT ROLLOVER*** -

Left from post 10, was parked to the lead in :27 3/5, set a pressured pace against the bias and didn't tire that badly

 

MAYWOOD

12/12: 8w, + speed

12/11: 4w, no bias

ODDS ON ROLOMITE -

Had post 8, was 4th over behind poor cover, rallied three wide around the final turn and finished solidly for the show from a tough spot

WELL DUNE -

Had post 7, followed cover three wide from post 7 and finished sharply for the show

FOX VALLEY TOUCHE -

9th at the three quarters while stuck behind weak cover, finished strongly for the show

SOMETHING BLUE -

Went first over against the 2/5 winner, paced a :27 1/5 third quarter, finished gamely for the show, last quarter in :27 4/5

BALLINROBE -

Left from post 7 and was parked forcing a hot pace, finally took the lead at the three quarters and excusably tired

SO TAKE THAT -

Followed cover third over, rallied three wide on the final turn and finished fast to lose by a neck to the favorite

 

NORTHFIELD

12/11: 7w, + speed

POWER EVERYWHERE -

Had post 7, was 4th over, followed the winner three wide around the final turn and finished with solid pace for the show

 

PHILADELPHIA

12/14: 3w, no bias

12/12: 4w, no bias

12/11: 4w, no bias

AUCKLAND FLYER -

Had post 7, was third over behind poor cover, rushed wide down the back to pass horses and engage the 1/10 favorite, held well to be 2nd best in a wake-up effort

MCEVER -

Followed cover from post 7 and finished well for the show

Was 6th at the quarter, rushed up first over, put away the leader at the three quarters, tired in the stretch but only lost by two lengths in an improved effort

Followed weak cover, moved four wide at the three quarters and finished willingly

BEAU JOE -

Trotter had post 10 going 1 1/8 miles in a 12-horse field, followed excess cover and finished quickly from a tough spot

FRITZIE PIC UP MAN -

Was 4th over, followed cover three wide at the three quarters and finished in :26 4/5

DEDI'S DRAGON -

Shot up the pylons down the backstretch, was in tight quarters on the final turn, raced in tight quarters along the inside down the stretch

HURRIKANE KINGCOLE -

Came off a long layoff, went first over, took the lead in mid-stretch, was out-kicked late but held well for the place

K-LEES SHAKENBAKE -

Potent closer had post 9, followed cover 4th over, angled wide for the drive and finished like a rocket to win going away with a last quarter of :26 flat

HERE COMES SWIFTY -

Left sluggishly, was parked in a cutthroat speed duel with the winner, forced the fast pace, tired in the stretch but held okay considering the trip

DADDY MAC -

Had post 10, saved ground, had pace up the pylons but got blocked in mid-stretch and had to take a hold

FOUR STARZZZ Z -

Left well and was parked to the lead in :27 2/5, set a fast pace under heavy pressure while refusing to yield, drew clear to another sharp win

Had post 7, followed weak cover down the back, finished fast in the stretch, sharp second

Had weak cover from post 8, finished well; holding his form well

JONES BEACH*** -

Went first over, paced a :27 flat third quarter, finished gamely to be a solid third

SAPPHIRE CITY*** -

Fast pacer left well from post 7, was parked to the lead in :27 1/5, yielded to the favorite's strong brush after a :26 4/5 third quarter, held gamely for the place in another sharp effort

HANG TEN -

Followed weak cover and finished strongly for the place, last quarter in :27 2/5

Left from post 6 and had a brutal parked-out trip; still in good form
