12/30: 3w, no bias

ALLMYX’SLIVENTEXAS –

3-1 favorite showed some early speed from post 6, tucked 4th, was shuffled to 8th, followed cover and finished well for the show after the less-than-ideal trip

NORTHFIELD

1/2: 4w, no bias, sloppy track

1/1: 7w, + speed

12/30: 3w, no bias

ALL FIRED UP –

Left and was used hard parked past a :26 4/5 first quarter, yielded, chased the pace and held gamely for the place

BILBO HANOVER*** –

Left from post 7 and was used hard to clear past a :27 flat first quarter, rated a quick pace in the slop under second-half pressure and had something left to hold sway by a length

DOVER DOWNS

1/2: 5w, no bias, sloppy track

GOTTI –

Left from post 7 and tucked 5th, rushed up approaching the half, kept the pressure on through a :28 2/5 third quarter over the sloppy track, didn’t tire that badly

POMPANO

1/2: 4w, no bias

1/1: 3w, no bias

12/31: 6w, + speed

THE MEADOWS

1/2: 5w, no bias

GOKUDO HANOVER –

Left from post 7, was parked to the lead in :27 1/5, rated a quick pace, drew off down the back and was a handy and sharp winner

DAPPER DUDE –

Was 4th over from post 7, swung wide for the drive and finished fast

MEADOWLANDS

12/31: 7w, no bias, speed held well but it wasn’t impossible to win from off the pace

12/30: 8w, + speed, mild headwinds

ZUZU*** –

Trotter had post 2, left a bit to get around the one horse and took an early tuck, saved ground, pulled out at the half but it looked like the driver may have pulled too late so he ducked back in and got locked in and shuffled back, cleared late and finished fast

GO FOR SAND –

Followed dull cover from 4th over, stacked wide, finished with good pace for the place

DELIGHTFUL DRAGON –

Left from post 9 and tucked 4th, went first over against a sharp even money winner, prompted the pace, held her ground gamely to be second best

BLUSH HANOVER –

Saved ground from post 9, tried to come up the rail but was blocked until late

PURITY –

Left from post 9 and got strung out for the mile, raced parked uncovered and held well

CITY PIE –

Followed cover, went three wide at the three quarters, edged wider in the stretch and was moving well on the way to an apparent win when he broke stride

ROOSTER RABBIT –

Left from post 10 and tucked third, went first over nearing the half, pressed the pace, couldn’t clear, was shaken off in the stretch but held okay

DOWNTHEHIGHWY –

Left from post 8 and was used hard to clear past a :26 3/5 first quarter, yielded, set a fast pace under pressure and excusably tired

TITUS SEELSTER –

Saratoga shipper came off a layoff, left sharply to the early lead, yielded grudgingly past a :26 3/5 opener, pulled to challenge approaching the three quarters, put a head in front turning for home but ran out of gas late in a solid hard-used effort

HUGH HEFNER N –

Was 7th, followed dull cover, swung three wide at the three quarters, edged four wide in the stretch and finished gamely for the show

JETSKI LOUIE –

Left from post 10 and was three wide on turn one, tucked in the pocket but then decided to go after the lead and got parked out without cover, tough trip

UPFRONT LORNE –

Was 8th at the half following poor cover, charged three wide at the three quarters and finished gamely for the show from a tough spot
