GENUINE DESIRE -

Left from post 10 and was parked to the half before taking control, shook off third quarter pressure, opened up a two length lead and gave way late in a game effort

CAPELO -

Had post 9, followed a weak flow of cover from 5th over, rallied three wide strongly at the three quarters and finished full of pace to win going away easily

 

HOOSIER

Trotter had post 5, quarter moved and was used hard to clear at the half while trotting a :28 second quarter, gave way grudgingly late

Was 10th at the quarter, picked up poor cover and finished fast from a tough spot

SHADY CAROLINE -

Floated out from post 9, brushed to the lead before the half pacing a :27 second quarter, wilted late but only lost by 2 lengths

Paced a :25 3/5 first quarter just maintaining position, went first over pacing a :26 4/5 third quarter, took the lead but was out-kicked while holding the place
