FINAL DESIRE – Made a big middle-move to take the lead and wilted against a strong bias that favored covered-up closers

MONTICELLO

11/21: 3w, no bias but much different than yesterday, closers did well with two big longshots rallying from post 7 to win and another longshot closed from post 6, unusual

11/20: 7w, + speed

11/19: 4w, no bias

MAJESTIC JO*** – Trotter made a sustained quarter move from post 6 to take the lead past the half, held the place gamely while second best to the 4-5 pocket winner

ARTS BLAZE*** – Had post 6, was third over, rallied wide around the final turn and finished stoutly

JUMPIN JACK FLASH – Had post 6 and poor cover, rallied wide and finished with solid pace for the place

LIFE OF EASE – Went first up to take the lead with a snappy third quarter and drew off full of pace

FAREWELL SKY*** - Left from post 8 and was parked the mile battling for the lead, held gamely for the place

L M XKR – Had post 2 and was used hard to clear the rail horse then got hooked in a race-long pace duel and held the place gamely

DOVER

SPRINGHOUSE STAR*** – Was parked the mile without cover from post 7 and only lost by 2 lengths in a game try

ALICE’S RESTAURANT – Had post 6, followed cover, gained at each call and finished sharply to just miss

GONWITHURBADSELF – Had post 8 and was parked the mile without cover, held well

POLITICAL TERROR – Quarter-moved into a hot pace, took the lead before the half and just missed

CATCHMECULLEN A*** - Left from post 7 and worked his way to the lead past a :27 opener, set a quick clip and maintained a clear lead in a strong win

IDEAL VINTAGE – Had the rail and forced a :27 first quarter, yielded to two horses, pulled first over against the sharp Catchmecullen A and weakened in a trip that was tougher than it looks on paper

ROY ORBISONG – Had post 8, left, tucked, went first over pacing a :27 4/5 third quarter and held okay

PAPA HEMINGWAY – Had post 7, followed cover down the back and finished strongly for the place

ARDUOUS – Left and was parked forcing a hot pace, could not clear and was parked the mile, held well until excusably tiring on the final turn

NORTHFIELD

11/20: 6w, + speed

11/19: 7w, + speed

BLUE ROCK JOE – Had weak cover from post 7, rallied wide and finished well for the place

I WON’T BACK DOWN – Was parked the mile without cover from post 7 and held okay

FOX VALLEY WINDY – Was parked a long way from post 7 while uncovered and won gamely

LEASE ON JODINE*** – Left from post 8 and was used hard to get the lead then cut the mile under pressure in a game effort

PHILADELPHIA

BETTOR B LUCKY – Left from post 8 and was used hard to get the lead as three horses left inside of her, set a fast pace under pressure and didn’t tire that badly as the beaten favorite

POCONO

11/21: 5w, no bias

11/20: 5w, no bias, five front end winners in first five races of the night, tracked played fairer to closers as the temperatures dropped

WORTHYS MAGIC – Left, tucked, brushed to the lead in a quick half, held okay

MEADOWS

ROWDY-BUSH – Quarter-moved and paced a sharp middle-half, tired but held nicely for the show

NEWBEGINING – Left and was used hard to clear in :26 4/5, yielded, sat the pocket and held willingly

ROCKIN ROBERT*** – Had post 7, moved out behind a poor flow down the backstretch and finished strongly

AWESOME ARMBRO N*** - Left from post 6 and was used hard to clear in :27, set a quick pace under pressure and tired in the lane but only lost by 4 lengths

DEFYING GRAVITY – Was 4th over at the half, ducked in down the back as the Catman looked for an alternative to his dull cover trip, angled out late on the turn, swung wide and finished fast to win

AROCKIN HANOVER*** - Left from post 8 and was parked until tucking midway through the second turn, was shuffled back and finished fast late
