Was first over a long way into a stepped-up final half and held well

JERRICO -

Gained ground at every call and finished sharply to just miss to the 1-2 favorite

 

MONTICELLO

3/25: 10w, ++ speed, most speed favoring track of the year here

FIVE STAR GAZER -

Left from post 7 and was parked the mile without cover pressing the bias-aided leader, held well for the show

OOBY DOOBY -

Responded off the drop in class, went first over and moved boldly on the third turn, stormed past the even money favorite and drew off overloaded with pace in a romp

WAKE*** -

Had a tough first over trip into a quick third quarter and held gamely to miss by a head to the 1-2 winner

TIMEWELL*** -

Had post 7 and weak cover 4th over, rallied wide and finished sharply

REAL MOTIVATION -

6th at the half, made a sharp first over bid and was second best in a game try

TOPGUN RAIDER -

Was 3rd over, rallied wide around the final turn and finished sharply

EUSEBIO -

Had a tough parked-out uncovered trip from post 7 and held gamely

Left from the rail and set a fast pace under pressure from the start, shook off one rival then was immediately pressured by the winner and fought tooth and nail to the wire

Had a tough parked-out trip from post 7, lost cover the final half and held well

Left from post 6, was three deep to the quarter, could not clear and went first over, tired excusably on the final turn; automatic bet with a switch to a catch driver

Left from post 7 and tucked, went first over against a sharp front runner and held okay

MAKE MAGIC -

Had post 7, picked up poor cover and finished fast for the place

Hard-hitting trotter had a tough parked-out uncovered trip and held well
