MCMURRAY HANOVER -

Went first over from a tough spot and paced a :27 4/5 third quarter to put away the 2-5 favorite then dug in gamely to hold off the pocket horse while finishing in :27 2/5

SHARK ON BOARD -

Left from post 6 and was cooked forcing a hot pace; two back was a game speed try from post 7, holding good form

MAKENZIE MC -

Was parked the mile without cover from post 7 pushing the 4-5 winner, held place

 

 MEADOWS

6/18: 2w, no bias, races canceled after the 9th heavy rain

6/17: 4w, no bias

SPHINX -

8th at the half while nine lengths back, finished strongly for the place

OBJECT OF ART -

Left from post 8 and was used hard to clear past the quarter over a track that may have been more tiring after rain, set a pressured pace and didn't tire that badly

RED STAR CATCH*** -

Left well from post 9 and was parked to the quarter for the lead, set the pace under second-half pressure and drew clear sharply

Tried to leave from post 6 but got hung out without cover, held well to beat 5 home

Uncorked a power-brush approaching the half and swooped to the lead with a snappy :27 3/5 third quarter, drew off full of pace

Left from post 7 and was used hard parked the mile without cover forcing a blazing pace

Left from post 6 and was parked the mile without cover, held the show gamely

 

MONTICELLO

DOLLY LITTLE ANGEL -

Left well from post 7, yielded and was shuffled, finished well late

ABOMINABLE SNOWPAN*** -

Followed cover second over from post 7, brushed three wide strongly into the final turn to engage the leader and drew off full of pace in the fastest race of the year at this track

 

TIOGA DOWNS

AMERICAN SWAY -

Hustled out from post 8 and was parked to the lead in :27, set a quick pace under 2nd-half pressure from the 6-5 favorite and didn't tire that badly

 

YONKERS

WOMAN OF TERROR -

Was first over from post 5 into a quick last half and held well

HEMER'S CARD SHARK -

Was first over from post 5 pressing the odds-on winner and held well

Had weak cover, rallied wide around the final turn and finished well
