COLEHEARTEDWOMAN*** - Paced a :26 4/5 second quarter on a huge power-brush to the lead, held gamely for place while clearly second best behind the 3-5 winner

 

MONTICELLO

7/4: 7w, ++ speed

7/3: 5w, no bias

7/2: 9w, ++ speed

THIRTY TRIPS – Trotter was parked the mile, stuck behind poor cover, went three wide and uncovered down the back and flattened out after a difficult trip

YOU CAN’T FOOL ME – Was parked to the quarter for the lead, yielded and was shuffled in tight quarters

THINGS LEFT UNSAID – Left from post 6 and was used hard to a :26 3/5 opener, sat the pocket and just missed

TROSS THE WAY – Was used hard in a speed duel to the half then yielded for the pocket, held well

 

NORTHFIELD PARK

7/3: 3w, no bias

7/2: 6w, + speed

FRISKIE CHACO – Was parked the mile without cover and drew clear

 

HARRAH’S PHILADELHIA

7/4: 5w, no bias

JIM’S GUY – Forced tucks with a :26 3/5 first quarter and drew off to a sharp win

 

POCONO

7/4: 6w, + speed

7/3: 6w, ++ speed, all races except one were won by either a leaver or quarter-move, one race won by first over horse, no closers

FORTUNES SMILE – Had poor cover third over, rallied wide and finished willingly against the speed bias

CRUISINTHECOAST – Was parked to a quick half for the lead and drew clear to a dominant win

 

MEADOWS

7/3: 9w, + speed

7/2: 3w, no bias

BUDGIRLS HANOVER*** – Left and was parked to the lead in :26 3/5, yielded and was shuffled with pace

AUTUMN MAGIC – Gained ground at every call and paced the fastest last quarter of the day

WESTERN – Was first over against a tough front runner through a hot third quarter, held okay

MATTHEW’S GAME BOY – Was first over a long way from post 6 and held gamely to be 2nd best to the 1-2 winner

BECKYS DREAMBOAT – Was parked to the lead in :26 3/5, yielded to the favorite, chased through a hot third quarter and held willingly to save the show
