BALMORAL

1/13: 1w, + closers, cold night, much colder than Saturday, 15 degrees at post time

1/12: 5w, no bias

STAR CITY HERO - Gained at each call and finished in :26 for a sharp closing win

WEN-MAR'S CHIP - Left alertly to the early lead, was shuffled to 6th, rallied gamely for the place

LUCKY NZ - Left from post 9 and was used hard to clear the lead, set the pace against the bias in the last race on the card on a cold night and lost by less than a length

 

MAYWOOD

1/11: 4w, no bias, off track

1/10: 3w, no bias

GEORGE'S ZTAM*** - Left from post 8 and was parked the mile without cover challenging for the lead in a speed duel, dug in bravely for the show

 

MONTICELLO

1/10: 5w, no bias

IMPOSTER A - Had post 9 in the second tier, quarter-moved but got hung out and parked uncovered on a long first over bid, could not clear but held well

 

DOVER

1/13: 7w, + speed, fog

1/12: 6w, no bias

1/10: 4w, no bias

BRADEN - Was parked to the lead in :26 4/5, set a fast pace under constant pressure and didn't tire that badly

MUSTANG ART - Was beaten at 6-5 but put in a gritty first over effort including a :54 2/5 middle-half

KEYSTONE SUAVE - Far back early, finished strongly against the bias to miss by less than a length

WE SALUTE YOU*** - Left from post 8 and was parked the mile without cover, pressed a :26 4/5 opening quarter and battled tooth and nail with the leader, held gamely for the show

LITTLE MICHAEL B*** - Blasted to the top in :25 4/5, set a blazing pace and held on for the win

 

NORTHFIELD

1/11: 5w, no bias, off track

 

THE MEADOWS

1/11: 3w, no bias

BLOOMINGTON - Left quickly and parked a horse to the quarter before yielding, was shuffled out

FOOL TO CRY - Left and was parked the mile without cover from post 8, held well

 

FREEHOLD

1/12: 4w, no bias

1/11: 6w, + speed

1/10: 5w, no bias

MILLIONAIRE CAM - Left from post 7 and was parked the mile without cover, held the show

MOVE ON - Left three wide from post 8 and was unable to clear, dropped back to race second over behind weakening cover and excusably tired after a tough trip, only lost by 6 lengths

BIG PUFF DOGGIE - Raced parked the mile without cover from post 7 and held well considering

 

MEADOWLANDS

1/12: 4w, no bias

1/11: 1w, + closers, sloppy track

1/10: 2w, + closers

SAD STORY - Set a quick pace for the class level and didn't tire that badly

ALL ABOUT KISSES -  Left, yielded, brushed back to the lead at the half and weakened in the lane over a sloppy track that favored closers

NATIVE SPEED - Was one of several leavers and got hung the mile without cover forcing a lively pace, excusably tired in the stretch; might be a good fit in NW3 at a price in exotics

CASIMIR CAMOTION*** - Left from post 7 and was parked the mile without cover forcing a hot pace, held gamely

ELUSIVE REWARD - Hustled out of the gate from post 10 and was used hard to clear in :26 3/5, set a quick pace and only lost by 2 lengths

BULLET SPEED - Left from post 9, and with the drivers this meet not allowing tucks, was another horse parked the mile without cover, held well considering

BAKIN ON THE BEACH - Had post 10, left, was parked to a quick half, met immediate pressure on the lead and didn't tire that badly in another game tough-trip effort

DINNER GUEST - Sharp speedster wired his field handily and Allard's front runners have been known to go on winning streaks here

 

POMPANO

1/12: 3w, no bias

FREENEASY HANOVER - Had post 7, stormed wide around the final turn and finished full of pace for the win

 

YONKERS

1/12: 4w, no bias

1/11: 5w, no bias, sloppy track

ELECTRIC SHOOTER - Had post 7, followed cover third over and finished fast to miss narrowly

HI HO STEVERINO - Left and was parked to the lead in :26 4/5, set a fast pace and was a solid 2nd behind the 3-5 winner
