LT'S SPORTY BABE - Had a tough trip from post 7, three wide at the half to try to clear dull cover; may be live at a price from a better post

FIVE COUGARS A - Left and was parked to a fast half before finally getting a tuck, held well considering

LENNOX BLUE CHIP - Power-brushed to the lead with a :27 2/5 second quarter brush at the half and just missed to the pocket winner

MONTICELLO

12/27: 8w, + speed, sloppy track

12/26: 6w, + speed

DOVER

12/30: 9w, ++ speed

12/29: 8w, + speed, sloppy track

BREAK DANCER - Was parked the mile without cover from post 8 and held well

PEARLHANDLEPISTOL*** - Left from post 7 to the early lead, yielded, went first over, regained the lead on the final turn and gave way grudgingly late

NORTHFIELD

12/30: 6w, no bias

12/29: 5w, no bias

12/28: 7w, + speed

12/27: 5w, no bias

SWEET CAROL ANN*** - Had post 7, made up 12 lengths through the middle-half and finished strongly

MEADOWLANDS

12/29: 4w, no bias, off track

12/28: 1w, + closers

MJ'S BID - Was parked to a quick half from post 9, yielded to pressure at the three quarters and didn't tire that badly over a track that favored closers

PAY TRIBUTE - Left and was used hard to the quarter in :26 3/5, yielded, cleared into the lane but weakened; still might be a price factor in exotics due to the early energy expended

HANNAH ISABEL - Had post 9, searched for clearance through the stretch but found it too late while showing pace; price factor in exotics

CORKY BARAN - Far back early from post 10, followed cover 5th over, rallied wide and finished gamely

ELECTROFIRE*** - Left alertly and parked a horse to the quarter then yielded, pulled first over, brushed to the lead and held sway strongly in first start for new barn

NO BU - Had post 10 and dull cover, rallied wide and finished gamely from a tough spot

DINNER GUEST*** - Hustled out of the gate and was used hard to clear in :26 3/5, set a pressured pace and didn't tire that badly

GIDDY UP DELIGHT - Was used hard to a :26 opener on a night when the track was not that fast and excusably tired in a race that was dominated by closers
