Shot to the lead in :25 3/5, set a quick pace and just missed to the 3-5 winner

BENEARTHEBEACH -

Paced a :26 4/5 third quarter first over and held well

 

MEADOWS

8/12: 3w, no bias

 

HARRINGTON

WOODSTOCK HANOVER -

7th, twelve lengths behind at the quarter, was first over a long way and held gamely for the place

SHARK TREASURE*** -

Had post 7, moved out behind weak cover down the back, powered wide passing tiring horses and reached the first over horse then drew clear full of pace

GREATDAYFORAMERICA -

Had post 8, moved out 4th over down the back, rallied wide around the final turn and finished gamely against the bias

 

 

NORTHFIELD

COROMANDELPRINCE A*** -

Got moving at the quarter on a long uncovered grind, finally wore down the leader in the stretch, could not hold off the closers but lost narrowly and held the show gamely

GORDIEISANARTIST*** -

Left from post 7 and was used hard to clear in :27 2/5, set a solid pace and won clear

MEGA HALL*** -

Was first over a long way against a tough front runner, paced a :57 2/5 middle-half and held the place gamely

JOVIAL JOKER N*** -

Left and was used hard to clear in :27, set a fast pace under pressure from the 6-5 favorite and tired but only lost by 3 lengths

 

SARATOGA

MONTICELLO

JM DANCING STAR -

Was parked the mile from post 7, followed weakening cover, moved wide on the final turn and went evenly; dangerous from a better post

SFUMATO -

Left and was used hard to clear in :26 4/5, set a quick pace and held the place

WHATAMACH -

Left from post 8 and was parked the mile without cover, excusably tired; chance against similar if he gets a better post

 

YONKERS

 

8/13: 3w, no bias

8/12: 7w, + speed

LOTSA CHROME*** -

Had post 8, left and took an early tuck 6th, was first over a long way, pushed a :27 4/5 third quarter against the 1-2 favorite and held well considering
