Harness: Hall of Famer Mack Lobell passes away


According to the Harness Museum and Hall of Fame, the great Mack Lobell has passed away at age 32.

Mack Lobell had an astounding career record of 71 wins in 94 lifetime starts and earned $3,917,504 during his Hall of Fame career. His major wins included three Breeders Crown finals, the 1987 Hambletonian, and the 1988 Elitlopp, a race he would win again in 1990.

He won Horse of the year honors in both the United States (1987/88) and Sweden (1989).

Mack was the Best, when Mack was stabled at a farm in Colts Neck my little son used to go see Mack he loved him. Great Race horse with Wonderful memories.

truly a beautiful trotting sensation of his time. I'll never forget the 87' Hambo when I watched him take it @ the Big M. RIP champion.
