Ann of the Dance is being pointed for the Ginger Brew on Dec. 24.

HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla - Trainer Marty Wolfson has taken stalls at Gulfstream Park for the first time this winter. Among the seven horses he has bedded down locally is Ann of the Dance, a 2-year-old daughter of English Channel, who finished next to last in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf. Ann of the Dance was purchased privately by Wolfson’s principal client, the Farnsworth Stables LLC., during the fall. Ann of the Dance worked an easy half-mile in 50.20 seconds here early Thursday morning.

“I took some stalls here because they cut me back 15 stalls over at Calder,” said Wolfson. “Right now I’m planning to move on next summer and base my operation primarily in New York. I’m looking at the Ginger Brew for Ann of the Dance’s next start.”

The Ginger Brew is carded at 1 1/16 miles on the turf for 2-year-old fillies and will be decided on Dec. 24.
