HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. -  - Sunday’s program at Gulfstream Park will feature the return of another prominent member of the 3-year-old class of 2011, Fountain of Youth winner Soldat, who moves back to the grass for his 2012 debut. Soldat, who has not started since finishing a tiring 11th in last year’s Kentucky Derby, won his maiden at 2 in the Grade 3 With Anticipation Stakes on grass and also finished second in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf.

Soldat, who is trained by Kiaran McLaughlin, has not won since leading throughout to post a two length victory over Gourmet Dinner in the Grade 2 Fountain of Youth.

Saturday’s undercard also features a couple of intriguing two-turn races for 3-year-olds, the first an entry-level optional claimer at 1 1/8 miles, the second carded at 1 1/16 miles for maidens.

The third race matches Heavy Breathing, an easy maiden winner in his debut, and Big Screen, who defeated Sam Davis winner Battle Hardened earning his diploma on Dec. 31. The fourth event brings back the well regarded Went the Day Well for his second U.S. start, Fort Boonesborough and Zito’s promising Tiz Yankee.
