HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – Sacristy, who began 2012 with a nice off-the-pace win in the Grade 3 Old Hat, will seek to end the month of January with a another stakes victory when she heads a field of seven entered for Sunday’s Grade 2, $200,000 Forward Gal at seven furlongs.

Sacristy will face three of the same horses she beat in the Old Hat, including runner-up Say a Novena and fourth-place finisher Quick Flip.

New faces to the field include Good Deed, who has won three consecutive races, all for trainer Steve Margolis; Broadway’s Alibi, who won a first-level allowance race by five lengths here Dec. 15; and Yara, winner of 3 of 4 starts including the Jack O’Farrell Stakes at Calder in November.
