Youbet.com has reached an agreement with Gulfstream Park to take bets during the 2009 racing season, which begins Saturday. Youbet joins the Churchill Downs-owned Twinspires and the Magna Entertainment-owned XpressBet as national account-wagering sites that will accept wagers on the Gulfstream races this season.

Twinspires and XpressBet reached a one-year agreement last week with Florida horsemen to accept the signals from both Calder and Gulfstream.

The agreement with Youbet leaves TVG as the only national account-wagering company without a deal for the Gulfstream meet.

Sam Gordon, president of the Florida Horsemen's Benevolent and Protective Association, said negotiations are ongoing with TVG officials.

According to Gordon, Youbet's agreement matches the terms of the contract with Twinspires and XpressBet - a 9 percent fee on the handle at Gulfstream and 7 percent at Calder.
