Great Lakes track report

MUSKEGON, Mich. - Felipe Santos moved from ninth to fourth in the Great Lakes Downs standings when he booted home five winners Tuesday evening. He doubled his win total to 10, eight behind leader Mary Doser.

Santos won the second aboard Mongol Sky ($14.20) for trainer Mark Romero, who saddled a pair of winners on the card. After missing the third, Santos won three races in a row with Tambourine Dancer ($22.60), Cirilo ($25.80), and Fool's Last Word ($18.60).

After sitting out the seventh race, Santos came back to win with Pass Bye ($5.20) in the eighth, but finished off the board in the last race, missing a chance to tie the track record for most wins on a card. He shares the mark with past Great Lakes riding champions Doser and Terry Houghton.

* Bantamweight won his third straight race when he got up by a neck in Monday's seventh race. The only three-time winner at this young meet, Bantamweight is owned by Elaine Gross and trained by leading trainer Reid Gross.
