Cassatt wins the 2015 Houston Ladies Classic.

Cassatt, a Grade 3-winning daughter of Tapit, was bred to Hill 'n' Dale Farm stallion Curlin on Tuesday and is scheduled to be entered in this year's Fasig-Tipton Kentucky fall select mixed sale.

The mating was confirmed Friday by the Facebook page of owner Fox Hill Farms. John G. Sikura's Hill 'n' Dale Equine Holdings purchased an interest in the mare prior to her 2016 campaign and will consign her as agent at the auction.

The 5-year-old Cassatt retired with seven wins in 14 starts, including a victory in the Grade 3 Monmouth Oaks and non-graded stakes wins in the Houston Ladies Classic, Zia Park Oaks, She's All In, and Tiffany Lass. Trained by Larry Jones, Cassatt's final start was a third-place effort in the Jersey Lily Stakes on Feb. 27 at Sam Houston.

Bred in Kentucky by Mt. Brilliant Farm, Cassatt is the first foal out of the unraced Giant's Causeway mare Justenufftime and is her dam's lone winner from two foals to race. She is from the extended family of champions Kitten's Joy and Dreaming of Anna; Grade 1 winner Precious Kitten; Grade 2 winners Lewis Michael and Justenuffhumor; and Grade 1-placed stakes winner Fast Anna.

Curlin, who relocated to Hill 'n' Dale in Lexington, Ky., for the 2016 breeding season, stands for an advertised fee of $100,000.
