Golden Gate Fields: Mandatory payout for Golden Pick 6 on Sunday

Golden Gate Fields will have a mandatory Golden Pick 6 payout Sunday with $1,408,071 carried over in the pool after multiple tickets hit all six winners Saturday.

Saturday’s winners shared a consolation payoff of $4,035.84 each. The jackpot pool pays off only when a single ticket picks all six winners, but, because Sunday in closing day for the track’s winter/spring meeting, the entire pool must be paid out.

The Golden Pick 6 will run from races 7-12.

The lone early program scratch is Manila Mischief in the seventh race, a five-furlong maiden race. Manila Mischief was the possible favorite, and his stablemate, Shackmeister is listed as the 7-2 choice.

Elegant Bel is the 2-1 favorite in the second leg, an optional $62,500 claimer for fillies and mares at one mile on turf.

Fox Trot Romeo is the 5-2 favorite in leg 3, a n optional $32,000 claimer for 3-year-olds and up at 1 1/16 miles.

Who’s for Glory is the 4-1 favorite in the fourth leg, a $16,000 claimer at one mile on turf for fillies and mares.

Run Sophia Run is 2-1 and stablemate Duchessa is 5-2 in the fifth leg, a $12,500 claiming, six-furlong race for fillies and mares.

The closing race has Slew’s Charm as a 5-2 favorite in a $20,000 maiden claimer for fillies and mares at one mile on turf.
