The Goffs Orby yearling sale, which replaces the three-day Goffs Millions auction this year, ended its second of three sessions Wednesday in Ireland with an average of about $95,128 and a median of about $70,080, figures that appeared to put the auction on fairly solid footing despite a significant drop in bloodstock values worldwide.

The Sadler's Wells mare is the dam of Group 2 winner Irresistible Jewel, Grade 3-placed Legal Jousting, and stakes winner Diamond Trim.

Also selling for above 300,000 euros Wednesday was Hip No. 292, a Galileo filly out of Jewel in the Sand, that BBA (Ireland) bought from Croom House Stud for about $452,600.

The second session sold 167 yearlings for 10,881,000 euros, about $15,886,260, resulting in an average of 65,156 euros and a 48,000-euro median. The buy-back rate was 13 percent
