Crestwood Farm announced on Wednesday that the first two mares have been pronounced in foal to multiple Grade 1 winner Get Stormy, who is standing his first season at Pope McLean's Lexington, Ky., farm. The two mares scanned in foal are Collyns L, a resident of Brandywine Farm; and Wishforemore, who resides at Waterford-Millford Farm. Collyns L, a winning Thunder Gulch mare, is a half-sister to stakes-placed Snake Attack. The 5-year-old mare is out of the unraced Belong to Me daughter Yquem and is from the family of Grade 2 winner Blush and Grade 3 winner Blue Baron. Wishforemore, a 10-year-old Mt. Livermore mare out of the winning With Approval mare Whispered Wishes, is a half-sister to stakes winner Quiet Action, stakes-placed Tall Cool One, and stakes producer Starlight Wishes. Wishforemore's first foal by Songandaprayer is a 2-year-old of 2013. Get Stormy, a 7-year-old Stormy Atlantic horse, won 11 of 31 starts and earned $1,606,812 over five seasons of racing. In 2011, he won the Grade 1 Maker's Mark Mile Stakes at Keeneland and the Grade 1 Woodford Reserve Turf Classic Stakes at Churchill Downs; the following season, he added another top-level triumph in the Grade 1 Gulfstream Park Turf Handicap. He won four other graded stakes events and placed in an additional six. Get Stormy stands at Crestwood for a fee of $5,000 when the foal stands and nurses.
