Gabriel named CEO of Dubai racing

Frank Gabriel Jr., formerly the director of racing at Arlington Park, has been named chief executive officer of the Dubai Racing Club, the Club's chairman, Saeed H. Al-Tayer, announced Wednesday.

Gabriel left his Arlington post for the Dubai Racing Club in August. His new position in Dubai places him in charge of racing operations at Nad Al Sheba, home of the world's richest race, the $6 million Dubai World Cup.
