A Full Mandate filly breezed a quarter-mile in 20.80 seconds Saturday, topping the work tab at that distance in the final under-tack show for the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's March select 2-year-old sale. The final under-tack preview originally was scheduled to take place in two sessions on Saturday and Sunday, but the company decided last week to combine the two sessions in a single preview on Saturday. The Full Mandate filly will sell as Hip No. 102 at the auction, which takes place March 18-19 at the company's facility in Ocala, Fla. Paul Sharp, agent, consigns the dark bay or brown daughter of Sweet Alabastar, by Gulch. A trio of juveniles put up the fastest eighth-mile time of 10 seconds. They were Hip No. 88, the Candy Store agency's Kafwain-Storm Struck colt, a half-brother to Grade 3-placed Paragon Queen; Hip No. 332, Leprechaun Racing agency's D'Wildcat-Good for Us colt; and Hip No. 338, Sequel Bloodstock agency's Dream Run-Guilty Pleasure colt, a half-brother to Grade 1-placed and Grade 2 winner Ready to Please and Grade 3-placed Chief Officer. Hip No. 378, a daughter of Flatter consigned by the Shadybrook Farm agency, had the day's fastest three-eighths-mile work, breezing the distance in 33.80 seconds. A dark bay or brown filly, she is out of the stakes-placed At the Threshold matron Katie Katie. The two-day sale is to run Tuesday and Wednesday with an 11 a.m. start time each day.
