Freeroll tops DRFT action

DRF Tournaments is the place for contest players to be this Friday. There are several interesting developments on the site that tournament players need to know about.

The most popular event is certain to be Friday’s freeroll. The latest in DRFT’s series of free contests will award one $95 entry into Saturday’s Grade 1 qualifier for the World Championship of Handicapping. Start your journey to the $1 million, zero-takeout WCH Finals courtesy of DRF Tournaments.

There’s also a final $95 round-one qualifier for Saturday’s Preakness Day Grade 1. One in seven players will win their full buy-ins for Saturday’s $580 contest.

DRFT is also introducing a new winner-take-all contest on Friday, where the winner will receive credit to DRF Bets instead of DRFT site credit. It costs $55 to play and the winner gets a $500 DRF Bets credit. Customers must be DRF Bets members to claim the prize so restrictions apply. For more information, including special offers for new customers, check out www.drfbets.com.

Last but not least, Friday’s racing features two contest lineups including a special new early lineup with an all-Pimlico option starting at 1:34 p.m. Eastern with races 5-12. The regular tournament schedule starts at 3:15 p.m. Eastern with 10 races (Churchill, 6-9; Pimlico, 9-14).
