Fourteen juveniles breeze a furlong in 10 seconds for OBS sale

It was crowded at the top during the final session of the under-tack show for the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co. spring sale of 2-year-olds in training on Saturday, with 14 horses tying for the fastest time for an eighth of a mile in 10 seconds flat.

The horses breezed over the Ocala Training Center’s all-weather Safetrack surface.

Following are the 14 horses who tied for the fastest furlong of the day.

• Hip 792, a first-crop Animal Kingdom colt out of the winning Animal Kingdom mare Mooji's Empire, whose first foal to race is a winner. Grade 1 winner Proud Appeal is in the extended family of this colt, who is consigned by Top Line Sales, agent.

• Hip 1010, a first-crop Forty Tales filly out of the stakes-placed Northern Afleet mare Sea Wind, whose first foal to race is a winner. The New York-bred is from the family of Peruvian champion Paradisus and is consigned by Randy Bradshaw as agent.

• Hip 1028, a Stormy Atlantic colt out of the winning Rahy mare She’s a Ketch, whose first foal to race is a winner. The Florida-bred’s page also features Grade 2 winner Red Rifle, and he is consigned by Best A Luck Farm as agent.

• 1031, a Kantharos filly out of the Afleet Alex mare Shessuchastandout, whose first runner is a winner. Coastal Equine consigns the Florida-bred, who hails from the family of Grade 3 winner For Rubies.

• Hip 1042, a first-crop Morning Line filly out of the winning Glitterman mare Silent Treatment, whose seven winners from eight runners include stakes winner Seriously Silver. Grade 2 winner Dixie Luck is in the extended family of this filly, who is consigned by Top Line Sales, agent.

• Hip 1046, a Bodemeister filly who is the first foal out of the winning Congrats mare Silverest and comes from the family of Grade 1 winner Peace Rules and Grade 2 winner Corfu. Randy Bradshaw consigns the filly as agent.

• Hip 1060, a Northern Afleet colt out of the winning Skip Away mare Skip Queen, whose four foals to race are all winners. The Louisiana-bred’s extended family includes champion Yanks Music, Grade 1 winner Hatchet Man, and Grade 2 winner Stop the Music. Off The Hook consigns the colt as agent.

• Hip 1063, a Yes It’s True filly out of the unraced Grand Slam mare Slamsational, whose first foal to race is a winner. Grade 2 winner Future Prospect and Grade 3 winner Devil’s Bride are in the extended family of the Florida-bred, who is consigned as agent by Craig Wheeler.

• Hip 1065, a First Dude filly out of the unraced Elusive Quality mare Slew’s Quality, who is the dam of three winners from five foals to race. Bred in Pennsylvania, the filly is from the family of Horse of the Year Lady’s Secret, South African champion Mahbooba, and French Group 3 winner Slew the Red. Best A Luck Farm consigns the filly as agent.

• Hip 1077, a first-crop Poseidon’s Warrior filly out of the winning Lost Soldier mare Soldiersingsblues, whose five runners are all winners, including multiple Grade 3 winner X Y Jet and stakes-placed Woman Soldier. McKathan Bros. consigns the Florida-bred as agent.

• Hip 1171, a first-crop Soldat filly out of the winning Thunder Gulch mare Thunder Way, who is the dam of one winner from two foals to race. Group 3 winner African Joy is in the extended family, as is Kentucky Derby runner-up Invisible Ink and stakes winner Princess Arabella. Wavertree Stables consigns the filly as agent.

• Hip 1196, a Colonel John filly out of the placed Elusive Quality mare Triple O’Five, whose two foals to race are both stakes winners: Net Gain and Cat Five’ O. Agent Scanlon Training Sales consigns the colt, whose second dam is Grade 1 winner Stormy Pick.

• Hip 1197, an Into Mischief filly out of the unraced Forest Camp mare Trisha, who is the dam of two winners from three foals to race. The Florida-bred’s page features stakes winners Trisha Runs, Louis Leggs, Unique Type, Magnetic Type, Liberada, and Gray Lady Type. She is consigned by Bobby Dodd, agent.

• Hip 1205, a Scat Daddy colt out of the unraced Deputy Minister mare Trusty Lady, whose six foals to race are all winners, including the Grade 3-placed Trendy Lady. Trusty Lady is also the dam of stakes producer Aguilera. Grade 1 winner Kool Arrival is this colt’s third dam, and his second dam is Grade 2 winner Klassy Kim. Harris Training Center consigns the colt as agent.

Three horses tied for the fasted time at two furlongs, going in 20 3/5 seconds.

• Hip 1011, a Tapizar colt out of the unraced Forestry mare Se Bella, whose four winners from five runners include stakes-placed Swiss Army Wife. Farther down the page is Grade 2 winner Natural Selection and Grade 3 winner Sharp Impact. He is consigned by Thoroughbred Champions Training Center.

• Hip 1079, a first-crop Violence colt out of the winning Meadowlake mare Something Brewing, whose four foals to race are all winners, including Grade 3-placed Pedaltothemedal. He is from the family of Grade 1 winner El Brujo, Grade 2 winner Concave, and Group 3 winner Barn Five South. Envision Equine consigns the colt as agent.

• Hip 1165, a Run Away and Hide colt out of the winning Tapit mare Texit, from the family of Grade 1 winner Fleet Renee, Grade 2 winners Jungle Wave and Future Quest, Grade 3 winners Darien Miss and Andover Man, and Breeders' Cup Juvenile Sprint winner Hightail. He is consigned by Blas Perez Stables.
