Central Kentucky horsemen Greg and Beth Burchell have joined forces with former Magna Entertainment Corp. executive Don Amos to form Crossroads Sales, an agency that will consign horses to public auctions.

Crossroads will offer its first horses at the Fasig-Tipton July and Keeneland September yearling sales.

The Burchells have been affiliated with such operations as Taylor Made Sales and Adena Springs South in their combined 45 years of experience in the Thoroughbred industry. Amos, who recently retired as Magna Entertainment's chief operating officer, is an owner and breeder in his own right. He is a partner and an adviser in the Crossroads operation, according to the agency's announcement on Friday.

The announcement described Crossroads as "a full-service sales agency in the Bluegrass that will offer select consignments to major public auctions."
